Digital Literacy Ethics in Learning Islamic Religious Education
The Role of Facebook as an Educational Medium
Abstract
Penelitian ini, mengkaji penerapan etika literasi digital dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) melalui aktivitas komunitas dakwah digital di Facebook. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif guru PAI sebagai pengguna aktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Facebook bukan platform pendidikan formal, melainkan media ini telah dimanfaatkan sebagai ruang alternatif dalam menyampaikan nilai-nilai Islam. Sebagian pengguna menunjukkan etika digital yang baik melalui verifikasi konten, penyampaian santun, dan moderasi diskusi. Namun, praktik penyimpangan juga ditemukan, seperti penyebaran informasi provokatif dan narasi intoleran. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital dalam konteks dakwah masih bersifat dinamis dan belum sepenuhnya etis. Penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya peningkatan kompetensi etika digital bagi pendidik agama agar media sosial benar-benar dapat berfungsi sebagai sarana edukasi yang valid. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya membangun ekosistem dakwah digital yang sehat dan bertanggung jawab. Maka, perlu adanya penguatan kompetensi etika digital bagi pendakwah, termaksuk guru PAI, agar media sosial benar-benar berfungsi sebagai sarana pendidikan yang bijak.
